Young Girl Among Roses

It felt really nice putting my new set of watercolors to use! I recently bought a lot of Cotman colors (for a deal on ebay, yay!). The colors are a lot less vibrant than the paints I'm used to working with (mainly, Dr Martins liquid watercolor), but I like the pastel look for what it is. I think. I just hope I didn't make a mistake buying Cotman, thinking it would be comparable to the higher quality Winsor and Newton brand... Any thoughts?

It's been a while! I'd forgotten how long it takes for colors to dry! Patience, patience, patience - the keyword of watercolor.
